Today’s relationship tips focus on the situation that happens to all of us. We all mean well, but for one reason or another, no matter how good your intentions are to stay in contact, you still lose touch with friends from time to time.
We always have plenty of excuses not to keep in touch, but what about all the excuses to keep in touch? Since when have our daily tasks been more important than those we love and cherish? Our day to day lives will always be there; but those special people around us might not be.

Today’s relationship advice is all about compromising. We all want something out of our relationships. Some of our wants are easily given to us and some are harder to get from our partners. This isn’t just talking about you, this is also the case for your other half.
One of the biggest reasons why it’s hard for people to compromise is because they don’t think they will benefit from it. Which is actually true a lot of the time, and this eventually leads to the destruction of that relationship. Both you and your partner have to be in communication so you understand the wants and needs of each other; therefore understanding each other more, and more willing to compromise on the things that truly aren’t that important.
Most relationships have one person who is more of a giver and one person who is more of a taker. One thing both of you need to realize is that it will never be balanced, that’s just the way people are. But that doesn’t mean that you should be taking advantage of each other. It’s easy to keep score, but that will cause more harm than good. What you want to do is keep an open dialogue about the issues and make sure it’s done in a positive and constructive way.

- Love
- Acceptance
- Appreciation
- Validation
Everything else we want in our relationships is just a wishful dream. Its not to say we shouldn’t seek after those additional things, its just saying we need to accept people for who they are and not get hung up on less important characteristics. Everything else will tend to fall into place over time if those four areas are covered.
